This is a response to the environmental activist “Just Stop Oil”
They chose to deface valuable works of art in the name of social justice to draw attention to climate change, but it ended up painting them in the wrong light.
I chose a style that George Condo coined called “Artificial Realism ” .
I went with this style because destroying art for “Climate Change” seemed artificial.
This poster has a partly glossy, partly matte finish and it'll add a touch of sophistication to any room.

One of the main characters (Tetsuo) arrives at ground zero to meet Akira but only found his remains. The government stored his body to study the Power.
Seeing Jean Michel Basquiat’s art in person after hearing about him and being inspired gave me a similar feeling to Tetsuo discovering Akira.
